Revised Town Planning Board Guidance Notes for Application for Permission under Section 16 of the Town Planning Ordinance and Town Planning Board Guidelines No. 41A on Submissions of Visual Impact Assessment for Planning Applications to the Town Planning Board

 

The Town Planning Board (TPB) on 2 January 2026 promulgated the revised TPB Guidance Notes for Application for Permission under Section 16 (s.16) of the Town Planning Ordinance (the Ordinance) and the TPB Guidelines No. 41A on Submissions of Visual Impact Assessment for Planning Applications to the TPB (TPB PG-No. 41A) which take immediate effect.  The revisions are mainly to refine and streamline the requirements in submitting technical assessments for application for planning permission under s.16 of the Ordinance.
